What does Exchange offer?

The Exchange Accelerator offers two in-person programmes based at Campfield in the St John’s district. Programmes empower both early-stage and established digital, tech and creative businesses to grow & scale.

Exchange offers two cohorts a year for each programme, starting in March and September. Programmes offer thought leadership, monthly group sessions and founder-focused content delivered through fireside chats and panel discussions.

What sets Exchange apart as a tech hub?

Exchange is a place-based accelerator that combines workspace, structured programming, and an embedded founder community into a single growth ecosystem, supporting companies from early-stage through to scale without forcing them to leave. Unlike traditional accelerators, founders operate from within the environment day-to-day, creating real behavioural change, dense peer learning, and ongoing access to talent, partners, and investors. The result is a long-term “home” for ambitious businesses, not just a short-term programme, where companies can continuously grow and scale within the same ecosystem.

Winning the Accelerator of the Year award at the Prolific North Tech Awards in 2023 and becoming a finalist for the same title from the UK British Angels Association demonstrates the dedication and passion of both past and present Exchange team members in showcasing the best tech talent within Manchester.

In 2025, Exchange was voted as one of the Financial Times’ Top 150 Hubs in Europe, the only accelerator in the North of England to achieve this recognition.
