What does TIC offer?

TIC aims to help businesses, citizens and research institutions make the most of the opportunities created by AI and deep technologies. Funded by Innovate UK and the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA), TIC provides practical support to people building AI products, companies and careers. Through innovation programmes and expert networks, TIC focuses on turning ground-breaking ideas into reality and speeding up time to impact.

Venture Building
A PhD Venture Building programme to equip high potential research talent with the broader commercial skills required to successfully commercialise their innovations.

Incubator
Early-stage support to accelerate the growth of IP-rich start-ups.

Start-Up Accelerator
A six-month hybrid programme to support AI start-ups to scale and access investment.

Collaborative R&D
Collaborative R&D programmes aiming to increase private sector investment in R&D and create a more agile and collaborative way for researchers and private companies to work together.
