An update on free sim cards with internet access.

We have provided over 440 free sims to low-income residents in Manchester!

Thanks to our partnership with Good Things Foundation, we were able to launch a city-wide free sim offer for low-income residents last month.

People who need a mobile internet connection can visit any library in Manchester to receive a free sim card which comes with free data. So far we have provided over 440 sims in Manchester, with the majority of those being picked up from libraries.

If you need a free sim card with internet data, or if you know someone who does, you can find a local library here - https://www.manchester.gov.uk/directory/14/libraries

If you can’t visit your local library, or if they have run out of free sims for now, you can contact us directly to request a sim. Please email us at digitalinclusion@manchester.gov.uk or text 07860 064128
