The impact of donated devices on Manchester’s Charity Sector

Earlier this year, the amazing team at XMA were able to donate 200 GeoBook laptops to us. We pledged 100 of these devices for various different projects and the other 100 were provided to organisations in a Laptop Grant.

Over 126 local charities applied, and picking out the right groups to help wasn’t easy. We assembled a board of local community leaders, including a representative from Manchester Community Central, and decided on 33 organisations who would receive up to 5 GeoBooks.
