Manchester Adult Education Service (part of MCC) provides courses and activities to improve the lives and skills of adults in Manchester. Their digital Skill Up sessions provide the perfect opportunity to get tailored support from qualified teachers on a range of digital issues.
Tackling Digital Exclusion Through Repair, Re-Use And Recycling For Manchester Residents
Community Computers is a non-profit initiative born and operated from registered charity, Renewal North West (1145056). Donated IT devices are repaired, recycled, and refurbished through the scheme to provide them back into the community at low-cost to tackle digital exclusion and provide IT work skills to the long-term unemployed to support them back to work, furthermore reducing the amount of e-waste going to landfill and ensuring all hazardous materials are disposed of properly.
